his story
rob's journey started at an early age with a huge passion for funky vocal house. this was influenced by his favorite dj at the time - dave seaman. he started working behind the bar at the famous "the world" nightclub in Warrington. whilst he was there, he saw that the club wasn't very busy during the first few hours of opening - so he started to warm up for the main dj's, playing a lot of tracks that dave was playing at the time. The owner of "the world" (sena) recognised his talent and offered him a permanent residency there back in 1996. alongside Barry May (On hubert street) & pete ward (awesome 3), He held a very succesful residency there for 7 years, working next to some huge guest dj's that include the likes of carl cox, boy george, ian ossia and david dunne - until the untimely closure of the club in 2003. during this time, he also held a residency at the internationally renowned "mr Smiths" night club in warrington with derek kaye which was host to the tv show "The hitman & her" in the early 90's.
Since then, rob has been playing to crowds all over the northwest including but not limited to reminisce festival (St Helens), the wine bar (Stockton Heath), Loaf (deansgate), Atlas Bar (manchester) & RJ's (new Brighton). He also held a residency at club deco (warrington) where he played alongside the likes of Graeme Park, marc Dennis & tony walker (Love to be... & trimtone), erik hagelton (cafe mambo) & jon pleased wimmin to name a few. He currently holds residencies at SOCIETY (Atherton), 663 (gOLBORNE) & hamiltons (Whitefield).
